Beer With Character From the Scottish Borders

Indulging yourself with Death by Chocolate at a white table cloth restaurant? Slurping up oysters at a sawdust-floored raw bar? In either case, savor your repast with the perfect malt beverage—Kinmount Willie™ Scottish Oatmeal Stout.

Stouts were likely first brewed in the 17th century, and are typically either dry or sweet. Oatmeal stout is a variation of the sweet or cream style stout, with unmalted oats added for smoothness and body. Broughton Ales' interpretation of the style, like all its products, is drier than most Scottish ales.

Brewed with a classic blend of roast barley, black malt and Scottish oats, this luxurious and traditional 'country' stout is richly flavoured, silky smooth and immensely satisfying.

Named for a famous Border Reiver—a direct antecedent of astronaut Neil Armstrong—this unique Scottish Oatmeal Stout continues the tradition of all Broughton Ales, "Beers With Character™" in both name and flavor.

Store in a cool place and serve at 50-55°. Suggested food pairings.
